Thoughts from Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil:
"A remarkable day for Mumbai, Maharashtra, & India, and #IndianOil is proud to have played a part. We had the absolute honour of joining hands with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, in enhancing the magnificence of the iconic Gateway of India and crafting a multimedia light & sound show that was launched by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis. This coincides with the landmark day in our history when the last British troops departed from our shores seventy-five years ago,
IndianOil, with its unwavering commitment to transformational projects of national importance, is proud to be a catalyst for social change on a national scale. Our efforts to preserve India's rich cultural heritage have been nothing short of extraordinary, and we have been actively involved in conserving and enhancing several national monuments across the country. IndianOil's association with the Gateway of India project marks yet another glorious milestone. I share my gratitude to the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for being a source of unwavering support that has been crucial. I must also thank Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister, Tourism & Skill Development, for his guidance. Special thanks to Shri Manukumar Srivastava, Chief Secretary, Govt of Maharashtra and Shri Saurabh Vijay, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Govt of Maharashtra.
Going forward, we look forward to supporting more such initiatives that inspire and empower communities and preserve India's rich cultural heritage. We will continue to illuminate the path towards a brighter future for India, one rooted in its glorious past and guided by the unwavering spirit of its people.
So Mumbai, come and immerse yourself in this special show every weekend! Let's revel in the glory of the Gateway of India!" #IndianOil
