"Today I travelled to Rajkot, Gujarat, to meet and felicitate the valiant team of Porbandar Aviation Fuel Station (AFS) represented by Akshay Shrivastava, Station Manager, and his crew Rama Kodiyatar, Driver, Manoj Solanki, Helper cum mechanic, and Vineet Khare, DIBH. The unwavering commitment of prioritizing the nation has served as the unspoken anchor for generations of IOCians. The Porbandar AFS team exemplified this steadfast commitment both in words and actions, ‘Auron ke liye sirf business hai, hamare liye duty’. Just five days back, their prompt response to the urgent fuelling call for an@IndiaCoastGuard helicopter at #Okha, Gujarat amidst the fierce #CycloneBiparjoy had helped in the evacuation of 50 workers on the rig 'Key Singapore'. Listening to the team and the coast guard officials recount their story of the eventful night, where they drove through torrential rains and bore witness to the gratitude of survivors after their rescue, was immensely satisfying.
