"I was at our Wadala Terminal in Mumbai today to commemorate the 2nd #IndianOilSafetyDay, with the senior leadership, heads of the Safety teams and IOCians. It was an occasion to pledge our collective and enduring commitment to uphold and strengthen the culture of safety every step of the way - across installations and stakeholder groups. Beginning with the operations, to the transportation of petroleum products and right upto the homes of our customers, safety remains a paramount and non negotiable tenet for us. The pursuit towards excellence drives us to constantly innovate and integrate technology in strengthening the safety quotient. It’s heartening that our pioneering initiatives for road safety, that included awareness and health campaigns for tank truck drivers, minimising night driving, among others, have yielded positive outcomes, leading to a drastic reduction in accidents. I also reiterated my belief that in the long run, it's not just the profits, rather a robust culture of safety that will define us.
