⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable EV journey — exceptional humanity at IndianOil Shrinath Ji Petrol Pump, Vaijapur Chaufuli On 1 August 2026 at around 4:30 PM, I reached IndianOil Shrinath Ji Petrol Pump near Vaijapur Chaufuli on the Gangapur–Nashik Highway to charge my Tata Nexon EV Prime. Charging started smoothly on the very first attempt. The petrol pump is easy to locate from the highway, has ample space for EVs, clean and well-maintained washrooms, and importantly, the staff makes sure that the EV charging area is not unnecessarily occupied by other vehicles. But what made this place truly special was not just the infrastructure — it was the people. While my vehicle was charging, another family travelling in a 2022 Nexon EV was having difficulty with the charging gun. To our surprise, the owner of the petrol pump personally came forward to help them. He then instructed his staff to arrange tea for us. Although tea was not readily available at the pump, an employee went out and brought excellent tea for everyone. We spent a wonderful time talking with the owner. He even advised us to charge our mobile phones because we might need them later during our journey. My phone was at only 17%, and in hindsight, that thoughtful suggestion became extremely useful. We came to know that the owner had been a Nagarsevak for two consecutive terms and is also a bank director. Despite holding such positions, his simplicity, humility and willingness to personally help travellers were remarkable.
